Le bouledogue n'est pas une race fragile de base elle est au contraire rustique et  résistante;  able to play run and live like all other dogs!

It is obvious that this breed, which has become very fashionable, has aroused  a sudden interest for many people, whether good or bad, :  amateur breeders or pro breeders, multi  breeds, individuals, dog sellers, traffickers etc...

Fashions are well known for wreaking havoc, which has largely contributed to this very mauvaise  reputation!

If I had to take stock of 8 years and a half of breeding I could say that I was very lucky because I came across good lines that got off to a good start with healthy dogs; they have  never had any major health concerns,  certainly   I had _cc781905-b1-94-94-94-5 136bad5cf58d_small ulcers, ear infections, conjunctivitis, abscess and other minor sores but never major worries or serious operations with them!

I don't  am not safe from having a big problem one day  with one of my dogs and never guarantee to make puppies without problem but _cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ proof is that a good job of  selection with health tests, a healthy and comfortable lifestyle really limits the risks! 

For example a free outdoor life where dogs can run and develop their rib cage and lungs from an early age make dogs that breathe much better than a dog locked in a cage or box 24 hours a day!

The phenotype and the genotype have a great importance in the selection, marrying two dogs with health concerns gives a much higher risk of having puppies with a problems.

Marier deux chiens trop court, trop petit, des narines trop pincées, des voiles du palais trop long, skin problems etc etc will accentuate these problems which will affect the puppies_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d!
